Ronald Butler was the United State’s ambassador to the small middle eastern country of Sultanstan. Sultanstan was a small country, situated along the Persian gulf. It was the wealthiest country in the world due to its trade on crude oil. It even surpassed the wealth of the United Arab Emirates its capital city, Sultanstan City, was the richest city on earth, and was rapidly developing. Businesses across the world rushed to Sultanstan City for the promises of riches with promised tax breaks, free trade, and low wages for employees. World governments also began trying to court favor with Sultanstans Sultan. The Sultan was neither aligned to any of the world’s major power blocks (Which are NATO, CSTO, and China) and so Ronald Butler was sent to Sultanstan City to meet with the Sultan, and to potentially beat the Russians and Chinese from winning the Sultan’s favor.
